UPLIFT NOT RUNNING OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD

We have decided to cancel the uplift this Christmas. The middle section of the DH track is currently closed. It has just been worked on for some well needed maintenance but is now closed as the surface is too soft to ride on and needs time to settle before being reopened in the new year. Also, the visitor center and toilets will be closed over Christmas, with no first aider on site either. This combined with rising covid cases and the 2m rule coming back into force, we feel it is the right decision to close.

*MASKS MUST BE WORN ON THE BUS – SO MAKE SURE YOU BRING ONE*

Bookings are now open, running on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with more midweek days to be added if we get super busy.

Looking forward to catching up with you all soon…

Cwmdown is one of the original mountain bike uplifts in the UK. Running since 2006, we are here to run you guys to the top of the DH & XC trails at Cwmcarn in South Wales.

With a 250m vertical drop through the epic Cwmcarn landscape, all-weather trails and year round uplift, it’s often seen as one of the definitive UK downhill destinations. Graded Extreme, it offers some steep, technical and challenging trails, whilst still having options for the more intermediate riders.
